Welcome!
I've been watching surf videos over and over again, just wishing for some miracle for nice looking waves... some might think I'm crazy, if they knew that I surfed 4 days of head high- beautiful waves this past week. My dad calls it: "THE BUG"... and if anything like a Surf Rehab existed I would be in the white- padded room just by now.
Because of all that, and also due to the "flatness", or the "está planchao como un plato" of the beach in the past two days... I came up with this Surf Bug Blog. Whatever kind of bug you have, either painting, cooking, fishing, travelling, or just reading dictionaries, feel free to post of whatever comes to mind. See you all! Karla

Haterrass is back baby! My father and I arrived late Saturday night and by Sunday morning it was blowing 25 mph and building. By 2:00 pm I was out in 30 - 35 mph winds with my 4.7 Instinct and 80 liter Maui Project. My father took some video so I could share it with you. He surely isn't as skilled a cinematographer as Papa Baez, but I think you will enjoy it just the same.

Weird shark story...
Fishermen by the west coast find off-shore a huge dead shark (about 30- something feet). He was head down and he was so big that they couldn't flip him to really see what he was. So they decided to cut his tail and send it for research. (Pic on top)
Some time later, DNA info came back, and the results show that it was a Basking shark. This type is not dangerous and is similar to the whale shark in the sense that it eats plankton in the same way. The weird part is that this type is supposed to only be found in cold (almost artic waters).... So, what's going on with nature!?!
Hope no other big sharks, like the great white, take any ideas!
Below another pic of basking sharks...

Well, this is an old picture of Royce. Finally some proof to one of his great stories!!! This one is pretty incredible, but it's true! It even made it into the newspapers. So here we go:Royce decided to go out trolling for fish in his windsurfer, and suddenly he realizes he got something big... it is a sailfish!!! Well anyway, if you don't think that's big deal, then let me inform you about Royce's killing tactics.... In the middle of the ocean, reel fish, grab screwdriver and stab the poor thing to death, come back, take picture. (If you still don't think this is enough, then check the guy holding the board at the left... it's windsurfing legend Jason Polakow)
Just make sure next time you see Royce, ask him about how he loves killing fish. :)
