Hello all. I would like to try a little experiment for anyone that cares to participate. We all have days when we can't surf, windsurf, kite, or even motorboat and fish. Since moving up north I have had a lot of those days but I keep a shrine in my room that keeps me going. It isn't much, just a couple of framed pictures of me and various friends windsurfing, but I wake up and see it every morning and know that I will be back on the water before too long. This shrine or an "ode to windsurfing" is on my wall by my bed. Where is your shrine and what does it look like? I would like for everyone to post a picture of something in their house that keeps them going on those no wind/no swell days. It could be anything really, so show me whatcha got.
Welcome!
I've been watching surf videos over and over again, just wishing for some miracle for nice looking waves... some might think I'm crazy, if they knew that I surfed 4 days of head high- beautiful waves this past week. My dad calls it: "THE BUG"... and if anything like a Surf Rehab existed I would be in the white- padded room just by now.
Because of all that, and also due to the "flatness", or the "está planchao como un plato" of the beach in the past two days... I came up with this Surf Bug Blog. Whatever kind of bug you have, either painting, cooking, fishing, travelling, or just reading dictionaries, feel free to post of whatever comes to mind. See you all! Karla
